Becky Marsh Counselling

Hello, I am

Becky Marsh

I am an experienced, professional, Accredited counsellor providing a safe, warm, working  environment  to help you deal with feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and other related issues. I can help you develop coping strategies and work towards a brighter future.

A full time counsellor since 2007, I work with individuals and groups who are trying to overcome a range of difficulties including low mood, anxiety, addiction, depression, grief, survival of abuse, low self-worth, relationship breakdown and obsessive compulsive disorder.

I believe everyone is the real expert on their thoughts, feelings and emotions- essentially what makes them tick.  In the safety of a supportive counsellor/client relationship I help people to access their own power to live more happily.  I see working with clients as a therapeutic alliance with a common goal and always do my best to explain things without jargon if you are unsure about anything.

I am practiced at establishing warm and friendly client relationship and I use a range of therapeutic approaches in my work including CBT.  I have good feedback from clients and am completely committed to providing the best possible outcomes for all my clients.

Counselling is a confidential opportunity for you to talk about the things that are troubling you.  This confidentiality means I wont will not repeat any thing you say unless you or someone else is in danger.

How many sessions will I need

That depends on how you feel you are doing and is ultimately up to you.  I will always encourage you to follow what seems right.  At the end of client sessions I provide an “Open Door” service so you can come back for individual or multiple sessions at any time.

I offer a free, no obligation session to talk over what you are looking for, so feel free to call to see how I can help

This isn’t a complete list of course and I am happy to talk through anything you want to, however unusual, personal  or unimportant you might think it is.
